VGC Day 16 – What Open-World Game Gave You That “Whoa” Feeling?

Hey guys, I’ll be honest, it took me a while to try and understand what this question actually meant. I think it’s asking what game in awe of the scale of it and eager to explore. That’s my interpretation anyway.

Here’s a link back to the master list of questions and blog links: 30 Day Video Game Challenge

Day 16 – What open-world Game gave you the “whoa” feeling?

Dying Light – PC

Before the release of Resident Evil 2, this game held the most realistic zombie experience I’ve ever seen in a video game. Dying Light is the lovechild of Mirror’s Edge and Dead Island, combining parkour and zombies. They’d grab and pull you as you ran past and swarm up on you. The zombies looked really good too!

It’s the sheer scale of the city of Harran that you can explore that made me just sit in awe at this world I was plonked into. This game is a definite top 10 favourites. Would highly recommend it!

What game left you stunned and excited? Let me know in the comments! Cheers for reading!
